Xpeng today announced its vehicle delivery results for June and the second quarter of 2023. According to the report, the company’s delivered 8,620 Smart EVs in June, representing a 15% increase over the prior month. Total Smart EV deliveries for the second quarter were 23,205 units, representing a quarter-over-quarter increase of 27%.

Xpeng has now delivered over 300,000 Smart EVs since the start of production. The company’s flagship P7 sedan remains its best-selling model, with deliveries of 5,592 units in June. The new G6 SUV also had a strong start, with deliveries of 2,748 units in its first month on the market.

In addition to its strong delivery numbers, Xpeng also announced a number of new initiatives. The company’s “AI Valet Driver” mode will be rolled out to all XNGP-equipped vehicles starting in the fourth quarter of 2023. This mode allows users to customize smart driving routes based on their preferences, making driving safer and more efficient.

Xpeng is persistently broadening its worldwide presence. The company recently inaugurated a new R&D center in Germany, and it plans to initiate the deliveries of its Smart EVs in Norway later this year. It is anticipated that this move will significantly increase the company’s sales momentum.
