Dell has launched a new budget gaming monitor, labeled G2724D. It is your typical under $300 display with a 1440p resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR. The monitor comes with a 27-inch IPS LCD that offers a 1ms response rate. It gets a good-looking design with an ergonomic stand that adjusts for height. Dell G2724D Specifications and price

The Dell G2724D features a matte black and gray plastic chassis. Dell includes an ergonomic stand with the monitor, which allows for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. Additionally, the stand can pivot 90 degrees, enabling the monitor to be used in portrait orientation. The monitor comes with a 27-inch gaming LCD with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels). It features a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1 ms.

The Dell G2724D incorporates NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium display synchronization technologies. This model stands out for its impressive color accuracy, delivering a wide color gamut of 99% sRGB and adhering to the rigorous VESA DisplayHDR 400 standards. There’s a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a generous viewing angle of 178°.

Further, the connectivity options on the G2724D include two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 1.4 port. It is also very compact, with dimensions of 611.90mm x 200.20mm x (393.48mm – 523.48mm). It weighs just 5.95kg.

This was the China launch of the gaming monitor and it costs 2,499 yuan in the country. Luckily, the Dell G2724D is also available for direct purchase in the global market with a price tag of $299.
