It is speculated that the device will launch along with other products, such as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and the Redmi Pad 2, in August in China. A new leak has revealed the variants and color options of the K60 Ultra.
A Chinese tipster has revealed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will come in two variants, such as 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB of storage. It will come in two shades, such as Black and Cyan.
The tipster claimed that the K60 Ultra will be an ideal choice for those buyers in China who are looking for an affordable flagship phone with an attractive design. As it is known, the device is expected to come equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset.
For those seeking a performance-driven flagship phone, they can opt for the Redmi K60 Pro, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and is available at lowered price of 2,599 Yuan (~$359). At launch, the device was priced at 3,299 Yuan (~$456).
The rumor mill has been revealing the specifications of the Redmi K60 Ultra in bits and pieces. Speculations are rife that the device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. it may run on the Android 13 OS and MIUI 14. For security, it may feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may house a 5,000mAh or 5,500mAh battery along with 120W fast charging.
