The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023 model) is set to feature the Snapdragon + Gen 1 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 870 found in the previous year’s model. This upgraded chip is expected to bring significant improvements to the tablet’s performance. Users can anticipate a boost of approximately 31% in single-core performance and 23% in multicore performance, along with nearly double the GPU performance. Furthermore, the utilization of a smaller 4nm manufacturing process will contribute to enhanced energy efficiency for the chip.

The brand has claimed that the new tablet has achieved an Antutu score of 1,393,05 points, which is quite impressive even for a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. In addition to that, the Legion Y700 (2023) could pack up to 12GB or even 16GB of RAM which will certainly be helpful in gaming and multitasking. Lastly, the tablet is said to come with ZUI 15 based on Android 13. Other than teasing the fact that this too will be an 8-inch tablet, Lenovo has saved other details for the July 22 launch event.
