OnePlus recently launched the Nord CE 3 smartphone in India featuring a Snapdragon 782G SoC, AMOLED display, 80W fast charging, and a 50MP IMX 890 flagship-grade camera. However, the brand has not forgotten about the device that started the series as it has released a new software update for the OnePlus Nord CE 5G which comes with bug fixes and the latest Android security patch.

The update is called OxygenOS 13 F.50 which is currently being rolled out to Indian users. It comes with the firmware version EM2101_11.F.50 and bumps up the Android security level to July 2023. In addition to that, the update fixes a bug causing the Home screen to stutter after unlocking the phone and the issue that causes the Photos app to crash will both be fixed. Like previous updates, the distribution of this Over-The-Air (OTA) update will happen gradually. Initially, a small portion of OnePlus Nord CE 5G users will receive the update today, followed by a broader release in the coming days.
