Realme is gradually expanding its C-series lineup in India. Earlier this year, the brand unveiled the Realme C55, and now it is all set to announce the Realme C53 mid-ranger, which is likely to be positioned lower than the C55. The device is set to launch at 12 pm (local time) on July 19 in India. Its landing pages are now active on Realme India’s website and Flipkart.

The landing of the Realme C53 has revealed that it will be the first-ever phone in its price segment to feature a 108-megapixel main camera. The device will offer photography features, such as ultra-clear images, night photography, portrait mode, and street photography mode.

The rear view of the Realme C53 shows that it has a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. The arrangement of these modules is similar to the cameras found on recent iPhones. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The brand also revealed that the C53 is packed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The company claims that it can achieve 50 percent in 52 minutes. Despite packing a big battery, the device sports a slim profile of 7.99mm. On the front, the C53 has a waterdrop notch display with a thick bottom bezel. On the bottom, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille.

Realme has already launched the Realme C53 in Malaysia. However, the above-mentioned specifications suggest that the C53 heading to India will have different internals as compared to its Malaysian version. To recall, the Malaysian Realme C53 is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual-camera system, 33W fast charging, and a 7.49mm slimmer chassis.

In related news, Realme’s sub-brand Narzo recently unveiled the Narzo 60 series of smartphones in India. The Narzo 60 5G and  Narzo 60 Pro 5G are scheduled to go on sale on July 15 in India.
