Tesla Model 3 Gets Major Facelift, New Features
If you have been following the electric vehicle world closely, you may have heard rumors about a refreshed Tesla Model 3. The vehicle was first spotted under a tarp in a garage a few months ago. The model was expected to make production easier for the company and add various features to the Model 3. Of course, no official announcement has been made about the vehicle, which is codenamed Project Highland, so all of this was just speculation. However, a video recently posted on Reddit gave us a live look at the refreshed Tesla Model 3.
As you can see in the video posted on Reddit, a prototype of the updated Model 3, known as Project Highland, was recently spotted cruising on a highway in California. The prototype was covered in black camouflage, but it was still possible to clearly see some of the changes that Tesla has made. The front end appears to have been redesigned, with new headlights and a different bumper. The rear end has also been updated, with revised taillights and a diffuser.
In addition to the exterior changes, the refreshed Model 3 is also expected to get a number of interior upgrades. These include a new steering wheel, a redesigned dashboard, and a new sound system. However, the most intriguing part is the price. As I mentioned above, one reason why Tesla made such a decision is to reduce costs. According to rumors, the new Model 3 will not contain the errors of the previous version and will be much easier to produce. This will save the company both parts and time, making the prices even more affordable than they are now.
However, it is worth mentioning again that these are just rumors that have not gone beyond speculation. Profitability is also important to Tesla, so the company may sell the new Model 3 at the same price as the old one, even though it is produced more cheaply.
