Acer has launched a new laptop in India. It is the Acer Nitro 16. The latest offering is aimed at gamers and packs some premium specifications. Read on to know what it offers out of the box. 

Acer Nitro 16 specifications and feature

The Acer Nitro 16 has a 16-inch LCD display bearing a WUXGA resolution and 400 nits peak brightness. It features a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. There is a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard and a Nitro Sense key. The laptop is equipped with dual 2W stereo speakers and a 720p HD webcam. 

Under the hood, the Acer Nitro 16 houses an AMD Ryzen 7 7840 octa-core processor. It is offered in two GPU options – one with GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and another with GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The laptop packs up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage. For heat dissipation, the machine is equipped with a powerful cooling system that comprises dual fans, dual intake, quad exhaust, and liquid metal grease. 

The Acer Nitro 16 is powered by a 4-cell 90Wh battery that is claimed to offer 10 hours of usage. It runs on Windows 11 OS out of the box. Connectivity options on the machine include an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card slot, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 4.0 port, Ethernet, Bluetooth v5.1, and Wi-Fi 6E.

The Acer Nitro 16 starts at Rs 1,14,999 for the RTX 4050 GPU with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 16GB + 512GB configuration with RTX 4060 is priced at Rs 1,43,558. The laptop is offered in Obsidian Black colors and can be purchased from leading online and offline stores across the country.
