Oppo K11 has been announced in China. It is the second K-series phone after the Oppo K11x, which was announced earlier this year in the Chinese market. The K11, which seems to be a China-exclusive device, bears resemblance to the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G available in the global market. The two phones differ in major departments like rear design and charging capabilities. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the Oppo K11.

The Oppo K11 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Ful HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, up to 500 nits of brightness, 10-bit colours, a 394 ppi pixel density, and P3 wide colour gamut. As far as display design is concerned, it features a flat screen with a centrally aligned punch-hole. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

On the front, the Oppo K11 has a 16-megapixel camera, that offers up to 30fps Full HD video recording. The back panel of the phone has a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 112-degree FOV and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The flagship-grade Sony IMX890 can take in 84.3 percent more light, which allows it to capture clearer images and videos. The phone comes with support for up to 4K 30 fps video recording.

The Snapdragon 782G chipset is at the helm of the Oppo K11, along with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. According to the brand, the 12GB+512GB variant of the phone scored 719,702 points on AnTuTu benchmarks.  The K11 comes equipped with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB of internal storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the device for expanding its storage.

The Oppo K11 has a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with 100W charging support. In comparison, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G offers 80W charging. According to OPPO, the K11 can achieve a full charge in just 26 minutes using the in-box 100W charger. Furthermore, the brand claims that the K11’s battery can remain in healthy condition at or above 80 percent even after undergoing 1600 charge-discharge cycles. Hence, the K11 can remain in excellent condition even after four years of continuous use.

The Oppo K11 features a graphite heat dissipation unit, which offers 23 percent better thermal conductivity than standard graphite. It also features a large liquid-cooled vapour chamber heatsink, measuring 4129mm², providing superior heat dissipation for a cooler gaming experience. The K11 ships with the Android 13 OS, which is overlaid with ColorOS 13.1. The K11 is packed with other features, such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, a USB-C port, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Lastly, the K11 measures 8.23mm in thickness and weighs 184 grams.

The Oppo K11 has arrived in China in three configurations: 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. These variants are priced at 1,899 Yuan (~$266), 1,999 Yuan (~$280), and 2,499 Yuan (~$350), respectively. It comes in shades like Moon Shadow Grey and Glacier Blue.

The phone is now up for pre-orders in China. During the pre-sale period, the starting two variants will be available with a 100 Yuan discount. It will be up for purchase starting Aug. 1. There is no word on whether the K11 will be released in markets outside of China.
