Sony has launched a new XV800 party speaker in India. The company says this speaker is ideal for Indian music genres such as Bollywood, Punjabi, Tamil, Telegu, and other regional music. The speaker comes with a decent 25-hour battery and is touted to offer omnidirectional sound. You can also connect it to a microphone and turn the device into a karaoke system. The Sony XV800 debuts with a solid build, weighing around 18.5 Kg. The speaker measures 317mm x 720mm x 375mm and comes with IPX4 water resistance when placed vertically and IPX2 horizontally. The speaker packs two woofers paired with triple tweeters on the front and rear to provide deep bass. It offers Omni-directional Party Sound and X-Balanced Speaker units.

Sony has incorporated the speaker with a unique lighting effect and designed it using sustainable materials, such as recycled plastic. The Sony XV800 comes with a 25-hour battery and supports quick charging that lets you get 3 hours of playing time with just 10 minutes of charging.

This portable party speaker also has a karaoke input, meaning you just plug in your microphone and show off your singing talent to the crowd. It has two inputs that let you plug in a guitar and use the speaker as an amp. There are features like Echo and Key Control located together on the rear panel.
