RAZ Mobility has officially launched SmartVision 3, an intelligent smartphone designed to cater to the needs of blind and visually impaired individuals. Developed by Kapsys, this feature-rich Android smartphone offers a touch screen with physical buttons, making it incredibly accessible for visually impaired users.

SmartVision 3 boasts dedicated buttons on the right side, providing users with quick access to Google Assistant for voice-controlled operations and text input through speech recognition. The phone comes with pre-installed applications tailored for visually impaired users, including a currency recognizer, color detector, light detector, and magnifier. Additionally, it incorporates five NFC tags that enable users to identify objects and execute specific actions, like making phone calls.

The smartphone features a custom wireless charger specially designed for blind users. Its top section comprises a 3.5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels, while the bottom houses a physical keyboard. Positioned above the display are a speaker and a front-5MP facing camera, facilitating effortless video calls. At the back, it has 16MP + 2MP dual cameras and a fingerprint sensor. The top of the phone includes a 3.5mm audio jack for headphone connection and a power button. On the right side, there is a textured voice command button, making operation easier for visually impaired individuals. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.

The smartphone allows users to assign up to 9 phone numbers to the number keys 1 to 9. A long press on a number key triggers a call to the corresponding number. Additionally, users can assign apps to the number keys for quick access by long-pressing the button, eliminating the need for time-consuming searches. This feature enhances convenience and accessibility for users.

The SmartVision 3 smartphone is now available for purchase on RAZ Mobility’s official website in the United States, priced at $539.
