The boards clearly mention that Herobrine, which was the primary baseboard for the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 project is being deleted as the project was cancelled. This means Chromebooks having Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 would not be available in the market anytime soon. It is still being determined as to why the project was cancelled, and we are waiting to receive official word from Qualcomm. For those who were eagerly waiting to get their hands on the upcoming Chromebooks with the Gen 3 chip, this news might be a bit hard to digest.

Those wondering about the performance of Gen 3.
