On May 20, Vivo plans to host a launch event to debut new smartphones in the Vivo Y200 series. The brand has confirmed that the Vivo Y200 GT will be one of the devices launching that day.
While the brand has not revealed any specifications, the design of the device indicated that it could be a rebrand of one of the recently launched iQOO Z9 series smartphones. Going by the GT moniker, it is more than likely that it could be a rebrand of the iQOO Z9 Turbo. You can take a look at the iQOO Z9 Turbo’s specifications to get an idea of what to expect.
iQOO Z9 Turbo specs:
The iQOO Z9 Turbo matches the standard model’s 6.72-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, it offers up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB UFS 4 storage, and 16GB virtual RAM. The phone features a 6K VC liquid cooling system.
Its camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front camera is 16MP. With a 6,000mAh battery, it supports 80W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging, running Android 14 OS with OriginOS 4. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C port.
