OPPO is reportedly working on its next-generation smartwatch. It is expected to debut in China later this month alongside the new Find N3 foldables and the Pad Air 2 tablet. Previous leaks have claimed that the upcoming smartwatch from the brand will be called the OPPO Watch 5 Pro. However, noted Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on microblogging platform Weibo mentioned the wearable device as Watch 4 Pro along with some key information.

OPPO Watch 4 Pro key specs leaked

The OPPO Watch 4 Pro as called by DCS will arrive as the successor to the last year’s Watch 3 Pro. As for the core specifications, the tipster reveals that the upcoming smartwatch will be equipped with a dual-platform design i.e. powered by the 4nm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset paired with a BES2700 SoC for a low-power mode. Previously, OPPO used the Apollo 4 Plus for low-power mode. The Watch 4 Pro will reportedly be backed by a 570mAh battery unit which is a slight improvement over its predecessor.

DCS also says that the OPPO Watch 4 Pro will feature a new design compared to its predecessor. It will be equipped with a 316 stainless steel frame instead of aluminum alloy. The base material will be ceramic for improved texture and strength.

As per past leaks, the OPPO Watch 4 Pro will come with an AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a curved glass overlay. It is expected to pack features like a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, GPS, NFC, and also eSIM support.
