Chinese smartphone makers like Redmi and OnePlus have recently introduced new high-end smartphones, namely the Redmi K60 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, with advanced hardware and a huge 24GB RAM. And now, there’s news that Vivo, another big name in Chinese smartphones, might also join in on this trend.
As per a recent report by DCS, an upcoming phone from iQOO, which is Vivo’s sub-brand, could feature 24GB LPDDR5X RAM along with 1TB storage. The device is also expected to feature a 1.5K to 2K resolution display, along with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Currently, the iQOO 12 is the most likely candidate to get 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. Previous leaks also corroborate the chipset details. Since the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is said to debut in October, we can expect the iQOO 12 to launch in Q4 2023 as well.
