How will Access Controller work?

The Access Controller will provide users with a customizable analog stick (usually used to steer your character in the game), which can be adjusted using a slider for the player’s comfort. After making the adjustments, you can also hold the analog’s position by pressing the lock button. Secondly, it comes with holes in the base of the controller to attach fasteners, making it safe from accidentally dropping the device. Lastly, you can personalize the whole controller by removing button caps and substituting them, making it easier for players to get used to the device quickly. The company is continuously taking feedback from various organizations and communities to make the controller more user-friendly. This means we might also see more Access controllers in the future.

This is an attempt by Sony to make a more user-friendly environment inspired by Forza Motorsport, which recently introduced Audio prompts in the game that have allowed visually impaired gamers to play the title using voice commands. The controller is said to support PlayStation 5 titles like Gran Turismo 7 and God Of War Ragnarok. People who have yet to try these titles will soon be able to enjoy the gameplay. So stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
