Sony has officially announced the new Summer Sale in India. During this promotional event, the company is offering a special discount on the newly announced PlayStation 5 Slim. So here’s everything you need to know about this sweet deal.
Sony PS5 Slim Summer Sale
To recall, the brand had first unveiled the new PS5 Slim version for 54,990 INR. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition arrived with a cheaper price tag of 44,990 INR. But now, the non-Digital version is getting a 5,000 INR discount, which brings down its effective price tag to just 49,990 INR. The discount is available for limited quantity and will be listed on major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Croma, Reliance, Sony Center, Vjay Sales, and others.
This offer will kick off on 1st May 2024 and goes on till the 14th of May, or until stocks last. For those unaware, the Slim version is a thinner and lighter version of the standard PS5. It even features a detachable disc drive. The refreshed design brings a 30 percent reduction in volume and 24 percent reduction in weight.
The storage offering also gets a bump to 1TB with an additional USB-C port in the front. Apart from the design, the internals haven’t seen much of a change. In other words, the performance offer the PS5 Slim is similar to the standard PS5 console.
