Realme is set for the Realme GT5 launch on August 28, and the company is teasing the device specifications and features on a daily basis. In today’s revelation, the company confirmed the presence of a Superframe Solo Chip X7 display chip developed by Pixelworks to control the video quality.

Another teaser also confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC based at 3.2 GHz. It is neither the Samsung nor ZTE chipset, but the base SD 8 Gen 2 SoC that powers other devices. The smartphone is bundled with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.

There’s another interesting feature is the ability to select the CPU clock speed of all three clusters. The feature was first revealed in a leaked video but was later confirmed by Realme in an official Weibo post. Further, it is speculated to feature two different modes including GT Mode and the Realme GT5 Geek Performance.

Realme GT5 Specifications (Rumored)

As per previous reports, the smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 24GB RAM and up to 240W fast charging. The smartphone will have a microphone, SIM tray, USB Type-C, and speaker grill at the bottom side of the device.

A recent Geekbench listing revealed 16GB RAM for RMX3820 and 24GB RAM for RMX3823. The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor coupled with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP sensor. A 16MP front-facing sensor for selfies and videos is also present.
