Huawei unveiled HarmonyOS 4, the newest version of its operating system, earlier this month. The software brings notable improvements and a complete visual overhaul. The company had previously announced over 30 smartphones and tablets eligible for the HarmonyOS 4 public beta program. Now, it has added 37 more devices to the list.

The new phones and tablets added to the HarmonyOS 4 public beta program are mainly year older models. Before we list the names of the devices, note that this is not a stable update, so you may encounter bugs and issues. We recommend that you only install the HarmonyOS 4 beta on your device if you are familiar with beta releases and are willing to accept the risks.

To sign up for the public beta program, open the Huawei app and go to “My Huawei > Home > Try out upgrades”. Learn more about the program and sign up with one click. After you have successfully signed up, follow the prompts on the page to go to “Software update” and download the latest version.
