Earlier, we reported that Borderlands 3 is making its way over on Nintendo Switch, which will launch on October 6. Many fans were waiting for this game to be launched on Nintendo Switch; however, that’s not all. According to a recent post on X (formally Twitter), Nintendo Switch has recently announced its Mario Red Edition OLED model available for pre-purchase.

The Nintendo Switch Mario Red Edition is inspired by one of the most popular video games, Mario. Based on the Mario theme, the console, Joy-Con controllers, and dock will arrive in red. This OLED model is designed to fit in your life by having three modes in one console:
- TV mode will allow users to connect the system to the TV using the included dock and have a casual gaming experience.
- If you wish to play without a TV, you can use the wide, adjustable stand to position the screen and detach the included Joy-Con controllers.
- You can play the games on the 7-inch OLED screen in a more traditional way of Nintendo Switch.
Price and Availability
The Mario Red Edition is currently available for pre-purchase with a price tag of $349.99, and the shipping is expected to start in October. The box will include a Nintendo Switch Console-OLED model, Joy-Con controllers in Mario Red, a Joy-Con strap, a Nintendo Switch Dock, a Joy-Con grip, an HDMI cable, and the console’s AC adapter.
