Vivo has just introduced the Vivo V29e smartphone in India, which boasts a Snapdragon 695 processor and an impressive 50MP front camera. Interestingly, a recent leak from tipster Paras Guglani hints that the remaining devices in the V29 series might be on the horizon.

As per a recent tweet made on X, the Vivo V29 5G series is on its way to India and other global markets. This is in line with the brand’s earlier announcement stating that the Vivo V29 5G will be launching in more than 39 countries including India.

The Vivo V29 5G is already available in Czech Republic. So it’ll be interesting to see if the brand will be launching the rumored Vivo V29 Pro model alongside it. So far, the Pro model has cleared BIS certification, meaning that Indian authorities have greenlit its launch in the country.

The Vivo V29 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting 1.07 billion colors and DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, 12GB RAM (expandable to 20GB with Extended RAM), and 256GB storage. The phone runs on a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging and incorporates an ultra-large VC Bionic Cooling System for efficient heat management. It operates on Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13.

The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a ring LED flash. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus.
