Recent reports have revealed that Tecno is working on a new device called the Tecno Phantom V Flip. It will be the company’s first clamshell phone with a foldable display. The device was recently listed in the database of the Google Play Console, which indicates that it will not take too long for it to break cover. Ahead of the expected launch, tipster Paras Guglani has shared a leaked render of the Phantom V Flip.

The leaked render of the Tecno Phantom V Flip reveals that it has a circular camera module, which seems to house two cameras and an LED flash unit. Inside the camera ring is a circular cover display. The image also suggests that the device is placed in a textured shell that covers the rest of the back. The leak has no information about the specifications of the Phantom V Flip.

As per reports, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will feature a 6.75-inch foldable AMOLED screen that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The circular cover screen will offer a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Phantom V Flip will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. Its rear shell will be equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. It will run on Android 13 and HiOS 13.

The Dimensity 8050-powered Phantom V Flip is expected to ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It is said to house a 4,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 66W fast charging. It is expected to offer other features, such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, and support for 14 5G bands.
