The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was recently announced as the brand’s flagship tablets. Now, it appears that a more affordable A-series tablet lineup is just around the corner. This will include the Galaxy Tab A9 model, which could launch soon as it was spotted on an Indian certification website.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 BIS

The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy Tab A9 was spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). This tablet model was initially spotted on the TDRA certification website. The appearance of the Galaxy Tab A9 hints that the launch of this device is just around the corner. Known tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) spotted the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ models on BIS.

Looking at the certification listing, we know that the Galaxy Tab A9 carries the SM-X115 model number. The BIS certification also confirms the Indian availability of these upcoming tablets. Based on what we know so far, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will offer 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM support. Under the hood, a large 5,100mAh battery pack will power this device, which will support 15W fast charging.
