Sony has just unveiled a brand-new product in the Indian market. The device is the new Spatial Reality Display, which carries the model number ELF-SR2. This display offers some notable specs and features, which include offering a 3D experience without requiring dedicated 3D glasses. So let’s have a look.
Sony Spatial Reality Display Specs
The Sony Spatial Reality Display was built to showcase highly realistic 3D content without the use of special glasses or VR headsets. It was made for various applications and development, which also makes it useful in various different industries. This ranges from industrial design, surgical planning, architecture, engineering, construction, signage, retail, software/application development, game development, and entertainment applications.
The device sports a 27-inch display that has a 4K resolution. Thanks to its immersive depth of field and detailed resolution, the ELF-SR2 can enable high-speed vision sensors and processing along with low latency for reduced motion blur and crosstalk. Basically speaking, the content being displayed on the screen may appear to exist in a three-dimensional space. The Spatial Reality Display also offers 10-bit processing, 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut support, and the super resolution engine to upscale content from 2K to 4K resolution.
The model offers enhanced facial tracking and recognition to map the viewer’s eyes to provide a natural and comfortable visual experience. This is key since it is a crucial part of making the digital content appear three-dimensional. The ELF-SR2 Spatial Reality Display will be available from authorized Sony distributors in the country starting from today (3th September 2023) for an eye-watering price tag of 700,000 INR.
