After launching in the UAE and Malaysia, Oppo has now launched the Oppo A38 smartphone in India. The device has launched in the budget range with attractive features like a high-resolution camera, a high refresh rate display, and 33W fast charging. Keep reading for more details.
Oppo A38 specs
The OPPO A38 comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD that’s got a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a fluid watching/scrolling experience. Inside, it’s powered by a processor called MediaTek Helio G85. You get 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and you can even add more with a memory card if you want.
It runs on Android 13 with OPPO’s ColorOS 13.1 on top. It’s a dual SIM phone, so you can use two SIM cards or one SIM card and a memory card. The main camera on the back is 50MP, which is great for taking clear photos. There’s also a 2MP camera for portrait shots. On the front, there’s a 5MP camera for selfies.
To keep your phone secure, there’s a fingerprint scanner on the side. It’s not too big or heavy, and it’s even splash-resistant, which means it can handle a little bit of water (not submersion). You still get a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is nice.
For connectivity, it has dual 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The battery is a decent 5000mAh, and it charges really fast with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Pricing & availability
Priced at ₹12,999, the Oppo A38 is currently available to pre-order on the brand’s website. Shipping will commence on September 13, so we can expect it to launch on Flipkart around that time. It comes in two color options: Glowing Gold and Glowing Black.
