Apple iPhone 15: When does it release?
According to new reports, the Cupertino based giant is releasing the Made in India iPhone 15 on the launch date for the first time ever. The Economic Times report hints that this move shows Apple’s confidence. In other words, the 2023 iPhones that are manufactured in India will be available to Indian customers on the same date as the first sale in other regions.
Apple manufactures its iPhone in India from its major supplier Foxconn’s factory in Tamil Nadu (a South Indian State). But despite the brand’s intention of same date release, sources have claimed that the iPhone 15 made in India might see delays over logistic issues. The move to shift iPhone production to India is a strategic change for Apple, which is trying to reduce its dependency on China.
So the plans for a same date first release also showcase the brand’s decision to continue its growth in India. For those unaware, the country is also the second largest smartphone market in the world.
