Last month POCO announced the M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. It is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12R that is available in China. At the time of launch, the smartphone was offered in two RAM and storage configurations. Now, the Xiaomi sub-brand has announced a new variant of the device. It sits between the base and the top model. 

POCO M6 Pro 5G 4GB + 128GB launched in India

The POCO M6 Pro 5G is now available in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. This means that the base variant that was announced during launch now gets double the storage capacity although the RAM remains the same. The newly launched 4GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs 11.999. It will be available for purchase starting September 14 at 12 noon via Flipkart. ICICI Bank cardholders can avail Rs 1,000 instant discount on the purchase.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G is also available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. The smartphone is offered in Forest Green and Power Black colors.

As for the core specifications, the POCO M6 Pro 5G has a large 6.79-inch center-aligned punch-hole cutout display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the rear, it has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens. Internally, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and an additional 6GB virtual RAM. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging.
