After multiple teasers, Huawei has finally launched the Watch GT 4 series smartwatches in the global market starting with the EU and the UK. The smartwatches, launched in 41mm and 46mm size options, claim to pack many improvements over their predecessor, along with a bunch of new features that you can find more about below.
Huawei Watch GT 4 series specs
In terms of design, the 46mm variants showcase an octagonal stainless steel case and provide multiple strap choices including fluoroelastomer, leather, green composite, and stainless steel. On the other hand, the 41mm variants feature a round stainless steel case and offer strap options such as fluoroelastomer, Milanese, steel, and white leather.
Key specifications include a 1.43-inch or 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, depending on the model, boasting a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI. Both variants offer an extensive collection of over 25,000 watch faces that can be customized with various colors and widgets.
For outdoor activities, the watch now has dual-band GNSS for more accurate location tracking, even in crowded city areas. It can track over 100 different sports, including new ones like Padel and e-sports.
To help you stay fit, the Stay Fit feature keeps tabs on your calorie intake with real-time health data. With Activity Rings 2.0, you can easily see how you’re doing throughout the day, including calories burned, exercise time, and standing activity. These features make it easier to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 series comes with improved features for tracking health and fitness. TruSeen 5.5+ now includes TruSleep 3.0, which keeps an eye on your sleep patterns and helps you sleep better. It also monitors your heart rate and SpO2 while you sleep, alerting you to any breathing issues.
There’s also Menstrual Cycle Management 3.0, which is claimed more accurate than most smartwatches in predicting the start of your period. It tracks your heart rate, sleep temperature, and other factors to predict and record your menstrual cycle.
Battery life is a strong suit of the series, with the 46mm variants offering a remarkable 14-day maximum battery life, while the 41mm variants provide a commendable 7-day battery life. Lastly, the smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS and it also supports Bluetooth calling.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 series is now accessible for purchase through Huawei’s online store in Germany and the UK. The pricing details are as follows:
For the Huawei Watch GT 4 with a 46mm case, the black variant is available at €249, while the brown and green options are priced at €269. If you prefer the stainless steel version, it is offered at €349.
In the case of the 41mm version of the Watch GT 4, which features a white leather strap, the cost is set at €249. Alternatively, the Milanese strap version is priced at €299, and the piano finish option is available for €399.
