With the successful launch of the Moto G84 and Moto G54 mid-range smartphones, the brand is aiming to target the high-end smartphone market in India with the new Motorola Edge 40 Neo. The smartphone is launching on September 21 in India as the lightest IP68-rated 5G smartphone.

The company is aiming the phone to be the best in the segment with the 144Hz 10-bit Curved display and the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC. It will have Pantone-curated color options and will retail via Flipkart, Motorola.in and offline retail stores.

Motorola Edge 40 Specifications (Expected)

The smartphone is expected to bundle a 6.55-inch P-OLED display having a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display is confirmed to house a 144Hz refresh rate and a 10-bit curved display panel.

The smartphone will launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal software.

A dual-rear camera will be present with a 50MP primary sensor coupled with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and a 13MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front camera is present for selfies and video calling. The device will run Android 13 out of the box with near-stock experience. Further, it bundles a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.

From the teaser, we can spot a USB Type-C Port, a SIM slot, and a Speaker grill don’t eh bottom side of the smartphone. It will be coming in three different Pantone color variants.

In connectivity, we expect the device to feature Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. An on-display fingerprint sensor will make it easier to unlock the device.
