Ulefone has announced the Armor 22 rugged smartphone’s launch date and price. The new Ulefone smartphone comes with a 6.58-inch display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a large 6,000mAh battery that can be recharged at 33W speeds.
The Ulefone Armor 22 is coming on the heels of the earlier release of the Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra. Ulefone has previously unveiled the Armor 22 but has not provided its release details. The Armor 22 is powered by the MediaTek Hello G96 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of expandable storage. There are three card slots in the Armor 22 for MicroSD card expansion and two Nano SIM cards.
The Ulefone Armor 22 has a rugged design and its 6.58-inch screen is well protected. The smartphone is rated IP68 and IP69K for dust and water protection. The smartphone is also MIL-STD-810G compliant. The Armor 22 has a 64MP primary camera together with a night vision camera. The Ulefone Armor 22 features a large battery of 6,000mAh capacity. The battery supports 33W wired charging only.
While Ulefone has reported some rugged characteristics of the Armor 22, it is yet to be put through the paces of a durability test. The Ulefone Armor 22 will be available from September 18 at a starting price of $299.99. The 256GB variant of the Armor 22 is priced at $319.99. The two variants will however launch with a 50% discount at 07:00 UTC.
