Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 13 series in China yesterday. The lineup comprises the standard, pro, and pro plus variants. All three devices are expected to debut in the global markets in the future. Now as per a tipster, the Xiaomi sub-brand is reportedly working on a new device in the lineup. It will be a rebranded version of the existing Note 13 5G. Read on to know the details.

Redmi Note 13R Pro reportedly in the works

Xiaomi launched the Note 12R in June this year. Kacper Skrzypek reveals that Xiaomi is working on the Redmi Note 13R Pro. It is tipped to be a rebranded Note 13 5G in the home country. The smartphone is said to feature a 64MP main camera sensor. However, the rest of the core specifications remain a mystery for now.

Skrzypek also added that the Redmi Note 13R Pro will be available in India alongside the standard Note 13. However, it’s likely that the former will carry a different name in the country. As usual, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Pro variants will also arrive in India. The standard and pro models have already bagged BIS certifications.

The tipster also revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro may launch as a POCO phone in the global markets. The moniker is not known, but it is speculated to be the POCO X6 Pro.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro series arrives with significant upgrades compared to their predecessors. Both pack a 120Hz AMOLED display (the Pro+ has a curved screen) with an integrated fingerprint scanner, a 200MP main camera, and more. Meanwhile, the standard model also packs incremental upgrades including a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and more.
