A new announcement has revealed the launch date for the Resident Evil Village port that will be available on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro series and new iPad. Capcom, the company behind the title, confirmed its release date, so let’s have a look.

Apple iPhone 15 Pros users can play Resident Evil Village next month

During the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced that the Resident Evil Village will be released for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and iPad on 30th October 2023. Apart from this, the event had Capcom also unveil the pricing for the mobile ports of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Mobile gamers can try out both titles for free, but you would need to pay 39.99 US Dollars and 59.99 US Dollars respectively to fully experience these AAA games.

Resident Evil Village iPhone 15 Pro Launch

This is big news considering the fact that these aren’t games that were originally launched for smartphones. These are current-gen titles that feature amazing visuals and run on the latest consoles. But now, you can play these titles from your iPhones natively. In other words, you won’t need a partner console to stream the video games to your handset. As of right now, pre-order for the Resident Evil 4 Remake is live on the App Store. Although, it is listed under “Coming Soon – Expected December 31, 2023.”

Both of the titles will support on-screen controls along with multi-touch support, HDR, game controller support, and more. Apple bringing console-grade games to its mobile devices is thanks to the new and powerful Apple A17 Pro chipset, which even features hardware-accelerated ray tracing. So, the shift to the USB Type-C and the new titanium build isn’t the only major change and the performance bumps will bring a new gaming experience altogether.
