Last week, renders of the upcoming Redmi 13C emerged on the internet. These pictures revealed the design of the smartphone and the colors it will be available in.
A couple of days later, the handset was allegedly spotted in online listings and the MIUI codebase. These listings disclosed a few details about this product. Let’s go through them.
Xiaomiui claims it found the forthcoming Redmi 13C in the IMEI database. The listings do not mention the name of the device.
These listings suggest that the product will arrive with the following three model numbers, each for a different region.
- 23124RN87C – China
- 23124RN87G – Global
- 23124RN87I – India
As per the MIUI codebase, the phone is codenamed ‘air’ and its internal model number is ‘C3V’. It will be powered by a MediaTek chipset and will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Going by the first four digits of its model numbers, the smartphone could go official as early as December. It is expected to be released in China first, followed by other markets.
According to the renders, the handset will sport a flat frame design. It will be fitted with a dewdrop notched display on the front and a triple camera setup on the rear.
The main camera will be a 50MP sensor. Also, the camera layout will mimic that of the Xiaomi 13 series.
Last but not least, the Redmi 13C will come in black, blue, and light green color options.
