Cannondale, a well-known name in the cycling world, has released a new electric bike called the Mavaro Neo SL. What’s interesting is that this bike is aimed not just at the usual cycling enthusiasts but at everyday people who want an easier way to get around the city. The Mavaro Neo SL is designed for city life. It has a Bafang Motor in the rear wheel that helps you get up hills and navigate city streets without breaking a sweat. The bike comes in two models, offering some choice depending on what you’re looking for.
The bike provides a 67-mile range on a full charge
One of the standout features is the bike’s adaptability. You can choose from three different designs based on how you like to ride. Whether you want a traditional bike frame or something that’s easier to get on and off, there’s an option for you. As for the technical side, the bike’s motor provides enough power for most urban rides, and the front suspension helps smooth out bumps in the road. The battery is neatly tucked away, so the bike still looks sleek.
The bike comes with some practical features, too. It’s got mudguards to keep you clean, a stand so you don’t have to lean it against a wall, and a rack on the back for carrying bags or groceries. However, note that the rack isn’t designed to carry heavy loads like a child. Battery life is also a plus. On a full charge, you can travel up to 67 miles. If that’s not enough, you can buy an additional range extender. The price tag is £2,200 ($2,675 USD) for one model and £2,400 ($2,917 USD) for the other. Both come with strong brakes for safe stopping.
