The router stands out with its self-developed Mesh technology, allowing for a steady network combining wired and wireless connections. Both the main and sub-routers feature Bluetooth Mesh gateways and 256MB RAM, supporting up to 200 Bluetooth and 256 WiFi devices simultaneously, demonstrating their impressive performance capacity.
In terms of hardware, the router features the main router with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports and the sub-router with one. They offer advanced functionalities including dual WAN, LAN port aggregation, and blind insertion. These routers can achieve a maximum theoretical wireless speed of 2976Mbps across dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Additionally, each router is equipped with four signal amplifiers, ensuring efficient signal transmission and reception.
The standout feature of the router is its ease of setup. Once powered on, it offers a hassle-free “0 steps” automatic network configuration. Incorporating the latest WiFi 6 technology, users are assured of a high-speed internet experience both for wireless and wired devices.
The Xiaomi Whole-Home Router includes smart features such as NFC “touch and connect” for quick, password-free network access with NFC-enabled Android smartphones.
