Last year, in October, Honor unveiled the Dimensity 700-powered Honor Play 40 in China. Today, the brand confirmed that it will take off covers from the Honor Play 50 Plus tomorrow (Oct. 10) in the home market. The below poster, released by the brand, has not only revealed its design but also confirmed its key specifications.

The Honor Play 50 Plus has a punch-hole display on the front. The inclusion of a side-facing fingerprint scanner hints that the phone could be equipped with an LCD panel. The company has confirmed that the device will come equipped with dual speakers for stereo output.

On the rear side, the device features a dual-camera setup, boasting a high-resolution 50-megapixel sensor. Notably, the back panel showcases a distinctive design with a two-tone finish: a silver-colored camera island contrasting against the blue-colored backdrop, adorned with captivating wavy patterns.

The Honor Play 50 Plus is a 5G-enabled device, but there is no word on its processor. The device is confirmed to arrive with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a massive 6,000mAh battery. It is already known through its 3C certification that it may arrive with support for 35W fast charging. The other specs of the phone are yet to be revealed. The Honor Play 40 Plus features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device has the Dimensity 700 chip, 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. It has a 5-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system. It runs on Magic UI-based Android 12 and has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
