Samsung is set to launch a new Galaxy A-series phone in India. The South Korean brand has confirmed that it will announce the Galaxy A05s smartphone in the country next week. It will arrive as the successor to the Galaxy A04s. The upcoming offering debuted in Malaysia last month. The Indian variant is expected to come with the same specifications. Samsung Galaxy A05s launch date in India
Samsung will launch the Galaxy A05s smartphone in India on October 18, Wednesday. It is confirmed to be available in Black, Light Green, and Light Purple colors. The teaser poster shared by the company reveals a waterdrop notch display with a thick chin and vertically stacked three camera sensors. The power button on the right side will likely double up as a fingerprint scanner.
Samsung has also confirmed the core specifications of the Galaxy A05s. The Indian variant will indeed have the same specifications as its global counterpart. It will feature a 6.7-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution. The triple camera setup will comprise a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The smartphone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor under the hood. The rest of the specifications are expected to be a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W fast charging, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
