At the Redmi Note 13 China launch, Lu Weibing hinted about the upcoming Redmi K70 series launch by the end of this year. Apart from this, the company hasn’t officially or unofficially unveiled any information about the upcoming Redmi K70 series. However, there are some leaks and certifications that shed some light on the specifications over the past time. In addition, a piece of new information is here via the Digital Chat Station on Weibo that the Redmi K70 could follow the design aspects of Xiaomi 13T.

It means the Redmi K70 will feature a Square Camera module featuring triple-rear sensors. Further, the smartphone will feature a glass cover instead of plastic. Dumping cheap material, the smartphone will come along with an all-metal frame. It is expected to feature a 5000 mAh battery on the board.

Redmi K70 bearing model code 23117RK66C appeared on the Geekbench a while back featuring an octa-core CPU having 1 + 2 + 5 core configuration while clocking at a maximum of 3.19 GHz. It seems the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but due to the absence of consolidated proof about the chipset specifications we are unable to confirm it fully. However, considering the presence of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the Redmi K60, it is highly likely the predecessor will feature the new SoC.

Like the Xiaomi 14, the Redmi K70 is also rumored to feature 90W charging capability instead of the 67W as seen on its predecessor. The Pro model outmatches the vanilla model and could come with 120W charging.
