YouTube has introduced a new AI-powered advertising package called “Spotlight Moments” that allows brands to target their ads to specific cultural moments, such as holidays, major awards shows, and sporting events. YouTube says that Spotlight Moments is a way for brands to “own the moment” around key events, when viewers are most engaged. The company also says that early tests of the new package have shown that it can lead to a significant increase in ad recall.
