Apple’s new product event set for next week

Apple is calling its forthcoming product event ‘Scary Fast’ which is taking place just before Halloween. It is set for October 30, Tuesday at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT which is quite later than the company’s typical launch times that kick off in the afternoon. The event will not be held in person and it will be streamed on Apple’s website and official YouTube channel.

The ‘Scary Fast’ tagline indeed hints at the launch of new Macs with powerful hardware. It could also be a reference to the company’s new silicon. Additionally, the animation on the official website reveals macOS Finder icon confirming their arrival. We should learn official details about Apple’s upcoming devices next Tuesday.

Previously, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman who has a solid track record with Apple had revealed a product event at the end of this month revolving around Macs. He had added that the company may announce an updated and long-due new 24-inch iMac with M1 chip that debuted way back in 2021. The 13, 14, and 16-inch MacBook Pros could also be a part of the event.  However, it remains to be seen if the upcoming computing devices will feature the M3 chipset.
