Vivo‘s V29e smartphone has embarked on a global journey after its initial launch in India. The phone is now official in Thailand and Bangladesh. However, it’s worth noting that this international version comes with some notable differences compared to the Indian model.
Vivo V29e global model specs & features
Design-wise, the global variant of the Vivo V29e looks distinct from the Indian version. It boasts flat edges and a flat display. and is offered in Ice Creek Blue and Forest Blue colors. In contrast, the Indian model flaunts a slim design with a curved display and is available in Artistic Blue and Artistic Red hues.
The display onboard has an FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, measuring 6.67 inches. The Indian model on the other hand features a larger 6.78-inch display.
Under the hood, the global model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It is fueled by a 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
For optics, you get a 64 MP primary camera paired with an 8MP camera on the back. As for selfies, the phone features a 50MP sensor. It runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and offers features like IP54 dust and water resistance along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Pricing
In Bangladesh, the Vivo Y29e 8GB + 256GB model costs BDT 36,999 ($336). The brand has yet to reveal the Thailand pricing of the device.
