Last year, Redmi launched the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. Reports surrounding the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have revealed that these devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

It is speculated that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will debut in December in China. Redmi is calling the Redmi K70 series the “2024 flagship”, which indicates that it could be available for purchase in January in China despite going official in December.

Last year, Redmi also announced the Dimensity 8200 chipset-powered Redmi K60e along with the Redmi K60 and K60 smartphones. However, the rumor mill is yet to reveal concrete details about the K70e.

The Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have already passed 3C approval in China. The 3C certifications have revealed that the standard model will support 90W charging, whereas the Pro model will offer 120W charging. While the predecessors supported wireless charging, the K70 duo is likely to lack support for it, as per recent reports.

It is speculated that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will also debut globally. However, these devices are rumored to be rebranded as the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro in markets outside of China. According to an X post released by tipster Mukul Sharma, the serial production of the Poco F6 series has started in several European and Eurasian regions. It is likely that the Poco F6 series will debut in Q1 2024 globally.
