Netgear has launched the M4350 Series AV switches designed for enterprises during the 2023 Infocomm exhibition being held in Mumbai, India. These switches are engineered and certified for AVoIP (Audio and Video over Internet Protocol) and offer out-of-the-box multicast functionality and profile-based configuration. The M4350 Series is equipped with enterprise-class hardware, redundant power supplies, and up to 100 Gbps uplinks.

In the past, AV professionals grappled with intricate IT switches, needing to learn technical terms or hire IT experts. The M4350 simplifies this by offering an AV-centric interface and pre-configured profiles for major audio, video, and lighting protocols, streamlining switch setup for many installations. The M4350 Series includes features like IGMP Plus with Auto-LAG and Auto-Trunk, NSF, Selectable Port-Channel / LAG, Advanced IPv4/IPv6 security, PoE+ and Ultra90 PoE++ options for AVoIP endpoints, and intelligent thermal and acoustic control with fans.
With a portfolio of over 200 switching products, Netgear allows businesses to connect various AV over IP devices, offering flexible speed options ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps per port. These switches can also support PoE for cameras and other security and surveillance products.
In addition, Netgear has designed other products for AV over IP installations, such as IGMP Plus, which simplifies multicast installations, and their modular switches accommodate copper, fibre, and HDMI inputs. Netgear’s switches come in various sizes and mounting options, suitable for installations ranging from university campuses to touring road shows.
