Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has also confirmed that it will soon be launching the Redmi K70 series in China. New developments show that it may debut in November.

Redmi K70 series heading for November launch

Following the Xiaomi 14 series launch, a Weibo user expressed their eagerness for the Redmi K70 series in November in a post by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing. Weibing’s response indicated that the K70 series is indeed scheduled for a November launch, with the promise that it will exceed expectations.

In a separate Weibo post, Weibing conveyed that those seeking a highly cost-effective flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 should wait for the Redmi K70 Pro. He emphasized that the K70 Pro’s performance would surpass similar products in its category, with a substantial improvement in design and an unbeatable price-to-performance ratio. This post confirms Weibing’s statement regarding the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 being featured in the K70 Pro.

Furthermore, Redmi’s Marketing General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas, shared insights about the Redmi K70 series on Weibo. His Weibo post indicates that the Redmi K70 will feature a screen supporting 1.5K resolution, and the Redmi K70 Pro will offer a 2K resolution display. Additionally, according to a report from MyDrivers, during an online exchange with users, he disclosed that the Redmi K70 series is well-prepared and fully stocked for its launch in November.

It is likely that the Redmi K70 series may come preloaded with HyperOS-based Android 14, like the Xiaomi 14 lineup.
