After launching the VT9 Air Lite gaming mouse last month, Rapoo has now introduced the Rapoo VT9 Air, a new dual-mode mouse designed for both casual use and competitive gaming, priced at 249 yuan ($34). This mouse combines an attractive semi-transparent shell with high-performance features.

The Rapoo VT9 Air is a lightweight mouse designed for both aesthetics and functionality. It weighs approximately 59 grams and features an 800mAh battery that can last up to 160 hours on a single charge. The mouse is powered by a custom 3398 engine (3395 premium version) that supports both 4K wireless and 8K wired connectivity. In wired mode, it offers an impressive 8KHz polling rate and a quick 125μs response time, while in wireless mode, it provides a 4KHz polling rate with a 250μs response time.

The gaming mouse features Omron microswitches rated for 60 million clicks. It’s designed to fit various hand grips and sizes, supporting both 122 and 131 grip styles. The transparent ABS shell, available in black and white, not only looks attractive but is also resistant to paint chipping due to its matte texture process.

The mouse sports a magnetic storage compartment for the micro nano 4K receiver to prevent loss and comes with six PTFE Teflon feet for smoother movement. The package includes accessories like a 1.8m braided power/data cable with a gold-plated USB interface, a USB adapter, and spare anti-slip stickers and feet for maintenance and improved control.
