The HP Star Book Pro 16 2024, which was unveiled last week is now available in China starting at 5,799 yuan (around $820 USD).
It sports a large 16-inch 2.5K IPS display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (5 or 7 series), it offers strong performance for daily tasks. Memory options include 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, with a fixed 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage.
For graphics, there’s an option for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 card for intense tasks, priced at 8,999 yuan ($1,272 USD). The laptop features a 5MP webcam with IR face recognition for security and convenience, housed in an all-metal chassis in moonlight silver. The keyboard includes a numeric keypad.
Battery life is impressive, with HP claiming up to 21.5 hours of full HD video playback and 13 hours of standard usage. The 68Wh battery supports 100W PD fast charging.
Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, two USB-A ports, and HDMI 2.1 for versatile connectivity with peripherals and displays.
