GMKtec recently introduced their newest mini PC, the GMK NucBox M2, which boasts a Tiger Lake CPU and efficient cooling solutions. The GMK NucBox M2 mini PC is offered in two pricing tiers: the standard version can be purchased for $479.59 on the official website, while the premium configuration is priced at $619.99.
In terms of processing power, it is driven by a Tiger Lake Intel Core i7-11390H processor, which offers four cores, eight threads, 12 MB of cache, and clock speeds ranging from 3.4 GHz to 5 GHz. Although the processor is two generations old at this point, it still packs a mighty punch in terms of raw performance.
In terms of graphics, it utilizes the Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU with 96 Execution Units (EUs), delivering impressive performance for media tasks and less resource-intensive games.
For memory and storage, the NucBox M2 can be configured with up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and comes equipped with 2 TB of NVMe storage, ensuring it can handle heavy workloads efficiently.
To maintain optimal operating temperatures during intensive workloads, the NucBox M2 mini PC features a “copper twin turbo cooling” design, ensuring efficient heat dissipation.
Connectivity options are plentiful, with four USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port featuring DisplayPort capabilities, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and two HDMI ports.
