Smartphone manufacturer Realme is gearing up to launch its new flagship phone, the GT5 Pro.  The company has been gradually releasing teasers about the phone’s features, hinting at some exciting upgrades.

Realme CMO Francis Wong revealed via Weibo that the GT5 Pro will herald a “new era of low-light telephoto images,” implying substantial advancements in nighttime telephoto photography capabilities. However, he didn’t elaborate further on the specific details.

Rumors suggest that Realme will employ the 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor for the GT5 Pro’s telephoto camera, paired with a periscope lens for enhanced image quality and optical zoom capabilities.

In a separate post, he said that the company had achieved 240W fast charging with the GT5 and that it’s now time for a “new peak of flash charge.” Again, he didn’t provide any further details.

While Realme’s claims are promising, it remains to be seen whether the GT5 Pro will live up to its “new era” aspirations in real-world testing. The official release is eagerly awaited to assess the phone’s true capabilities.
