After releasing the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 4 build for the flagship OnePlus 11, the popular budget-range OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is also receiving its first OxygenOS 14 open beta build based on Android 14. For users in India who are interested in taking part in this Open Beta program, the application window will be open from November 7. However, it’s important to note that even though it’s termed an “open beta,” participation will be available only until a specific limit of applications is reached. Here are all the details.

How to Apply:

To begin the process, you must first confirm that your phone has been updated to the detectable version: CPH2467_13.1.0.611(EX01), CPH2467_13.1.0.610(EX01), or CPH2467_13.1.0.573(EX01). To apply, navigate to your device’s Settings, select “About device,” tap “Up to date,” click on the icon at the top right, go to “Beta program,” and follow the provided steps. After the application channel is closed, OnePlus will review your application within 5 working days. If your application is approved, you can expect to receive the new version within 3 workdays. To download the version once your application is successful, go to Settings, select “About device,” and click on “Download Now.”

Considering that it is a Beta build, it might have some issues that can hinder the user experience or cause your device to malfunction. Here are some of the known issues.

  • The link to Windows keeps stopping while opening in the Control Panel.
  • Crash when closing the messages app bubble notification.
  • System UI keeps stopping popups and can show a black screen while tapping on an open app in the Google Home interface.
  • System crash observed while closing any bubble chat.
