Honor has unveiled a new mid-range 5G phone, the Honor X50i+ in China. To recall, the company unveiled the Honor X50 featuring a 120Hz LCD panel and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, in July this year. The X50+I, which is positioned higher than the X50, comes equipped with key specifications, such as a 90Hz OLED screen, a Dimensity 6080 chipset, and 108-megapixel dual rear cameras. The Honor X50i Plus houses a 6.7-inch OLED screen that produces an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, 3240Hz PWM dimming, and up to 2,000 nits of brightness. On the front, the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, and its unique rear camera island on the back has a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash.

The X50i Plus features the Dimensity 6080 chipset, 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 8 GB of virtual RAM, up to 512 GB storage, and runs on Magic OS-based Android 13. It packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W charging.

For security, the X50I+ is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. It measures 161.05 x 74.55 x 6.78mm and weighs 166 grams.

The Honor X50i Plus has arrived in China in two configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. These variants are priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$219) and 1,799 Yuan (~$247), respectively. It comes in four shades, such as pink, blue, green, and black.

The X50i+ seems like a good rival for the Oppo A2 5G, which features a 90Hz LCD display, a Dimensity 6020 chip, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, and 512 GB of storage. The A2 has a starting price of 1,699 Yuan (~$233).
